 Purpose of the Position

To support day-to-day district-level coordination of iCCM expansion and implementation, maintain accurate and up-to-date CHW deployment and reporting records, and ensure timely, quality data flows from CHWs and health facilities into DHIS2 and up to the SR/Provincial iCCM team.

Key Responsibilities

 Programme Implementation & Field Coordination

  • Support district-level planning, roll-out, and day-to-day coordination of iCCM expansion activities across assigned Union Councils, in line with programme targets and timelines.
  • Coordinate routinely with Lady Health Supervisors (LHS) / Focal Persons (FPs), CHWs, reporting health facility staff, and district health teams to ensure smooth implementation, timely information flow, and resolution of field-level issues.
  • Support baseline and feasibility assessments for iCCM expansion into new Union Councils/districts, including population, CHW-requirement, and health-facility-linkage mapping.
  • Arrange MRM & DRM to identify data gaps, inconsistencies, reporting errors, stock out, excess stock, expired items, and discrepancies.
  • Review availability and utilization of essential medicines and RDTs.

 CHW Mapping & Records Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the district CHW roster — deployment status, designation/category (e.g., LHW, CMW, LHV, Polio Worker, CRP, FMT/MT, Nurse, LHS, Vaccinator), gender, catchment population, assigned health facility, CNIC and contact details — aligned with the provincial CHW database.
  • Verify CHW deployment records against baseline Union Council data; identify and follow up on missing, blank, or inconsistent fields (e.g., designation not recorded, population or distance figures missing, facility linkage mismatches) until resolved.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date district-level programme, training, and reporting files (hard and soft copy), ready for internal review or audit at any time.

Training & Capacity Building Support

  • Support planning, logistics, and on-site facilitation of CHW training, orientation, and refresher/follow-up sessions, including Training of Trainers (ToT) activities as required.
  • Track training coverage and completion by CHW and Union Council, and flag untrained or overdue CHWs for follow-up.

Data Management, Quality Assurance & DHIS2 Reporting

  • Support timely collection, review, and submission of iCCM programme data from CHWs and reporting health facilities each month.
  • Compile and review CHWs' monthly reports at the reporting health facility level for completeness and internal consistency before entry and submission in DHIS2.
  • Support accurate and timely data entry/validation in DHIS2, reconcile facility-reported figures against the CHW roster, and resolve discrepancies (e.g., CHWs recorded vs. facilities linked) in coordination with the SR/Provincial iCCM team.
  • Carry out routine data quality checks (completeness, accuracy, duplicate or inconsistent entries, formatting) on district-level datasets before onward submission.

 Monitoring, Indicator Tracking & Follow-up

  • Track key programme indicators at district level — CHW deployment vs. target, data/record completeness, reporting timeliness, health-facility linkage — and maintain a simple indicator/gap-tracking sheet.
  • Support field monitoring visits, including review of CHW and health facility registers and reporting formats, and follow up on corrective actions arising from monitoring or MEAL findings.
  • Identify and escalate implementation or data gaps to the SR/Provincial iCCM team, with recommended follow-up actions and target resolution timelines.

 Reporting & Coordination

  • Submit regular (weekly/monthly, per programme schedule) written updates, data summaries, and progress reports to the SR/Provincial iCCM team.
  • Participate in district and provincial coordination/review meetings as required, representing district-level programme and data status.
  • Bachelor's degree, Social Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's an advantage).
  • At least 1–2 years' experience in community health programmes, data management, or field-based coordination roles; prior experience with iCCM, LHW, EPI, or similar community-health-cadre programmes is an advantage.
  • Working experience with health information systems, particularly DHIS2, is preferred.
  • Duration of the project is 3 months only.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, basic data cleaning/validation) and MS Word; familiarity with DHIS2 data entry and standard reports.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with close attention to data accuracy and detail.
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills, able to work effectively with LHS/FPs, CHWs, health facility staff, and district government counterparts.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the district and to field areas; proficiency in Urdu required, and in Balochi/Pashto/Brahui as relevant to the district is preferred.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and meet reporting deadlines under general supervision.
