Relevant Experience:

  • B-A with 2-3 years of working experience with NGOs/INGOs.  
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
  • Ability and willingness to work and live in a challenging and potentially unstable environment.
  • Commitment to and proven track record in managing accountable, transparent, and inclusive programming in complex contexts.
  • Ability to work independently, but also coordinate effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead a multi-cultural team with a high level of respect for local culture.

Professional proficiency in English and Local Languages (Pashto, Urdu) speaking ability

Job Description:

Procurement and Logistics

  • Ensure that asset register is maintained; ensuring that all assets are logged, issued with unique NIDA and donor assets mechanisms.
  • Assist HR/Admin/Logistic Officer in maintaining a robust filing system for all logistics monthly reports, Framework contracts.

Administration

  • Ensure management of vehicle fleets is in line with NIDA standards; ensure appropriate allocation and safe use of vehicles throughout the project and ensure servicing and maintenance schedules are adhered to (logbooks, vehicle fuel, maintenance & repair, Generator logbook. etc).
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of office by providing necessary items and equipment/supplies.
  • Setup accommodation and entertainment arrangements for visitors.
  • Maintain and organize office files and records, both physical and digital.
  • Process communication channel, including phone & emails.
  • Responsible to ensure functionality of equipment,

HR Functions

  • Assist HR department in with payroll and personnel database.
  • Provides HR operations support to the project including HR communications and personnel file compliance.
  • Assist in organizing and managing recruitment processes for full-time and other positions including finalizing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling and participating in interview panels, and processing documentation for offers and deployment.
  • Assist in ensuring the effective onboarding of newly hired staff and facilitates ongoing training as appropriate.

Delivers and supports employee engagement and motivation activities.
