Job Purpose
The District Mobilizer (DM) will be responsible for planning and conducting community mobilization and awareness sessions in all assigned Mauzas within the target district(s) under the PULSE Project. The DM will ensure effective community engagement, facilitate participation of both men and women, and achieve the required gender participation ratio of 60:40 (Male: Female). The position requires timely completion of mobilization activities within the project timeline and submission of complete Means of Verification (MOVs), including attendance sheets and photographic evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct community mobilization and awareness sessions in each assigned Mauza according to the approved work plan and schedule.
- Coordinate with local government representatives, community leaders, landowners, and other stakeholders to ensure maximum community participation.
- Ensure that mobilization sessions achieve and maintain the required participation ratio of 60% male and 40% female attendees.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage women's participation while respecting local cultural norms.
- Clearly communicate project objectives, cadastral mapping activities, survey procedures, and community benefits during mobilization sessions.
- Maintain close coordination with district administration, field teams, and project management for smooth implementation of activities.
- Collect and submit complete and accurate Attendance Sheets for every mobilization session conducted.
- Capture clear and geo-tagged photographs of each session, ensuring visibility of participants, venue, and project branding where applicable.
- Submit all required Means of Verification (MOVs)including:
- Signed attendance sheets
- Session photographs
- Session reports
- Community feedback records (if required)
- Ensure timely reporting and daily progress updates to the supervisor.
- Complete mobilization activities within the prescribed short project timeframe while maintaining quality standards.
- Address community concerns, queries, and grievances related to project activities and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safeguarding standards, and code of conduct.
- Perform any other field-related tasks assigned by project management.
Deliverables
The District Mobilizer shall be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Mobilization sessions conducted in 100% of assigned Mauzas.
- Achievement of the required 60:40 Male-to-Female participation ratio.
- Submission of complete attendance sheets for every session.
- Submission of clear photographic evidence for every session.
- Daily and weekly progress reports submitted on time.
- Complete MOV package submitted as per project requirements.
- Mobilization activities completed within the agreed project timeline.
