Technical Officer (TO) – DRR based SWAT |
General mission
|
Under the responsibility of the Project Manager or Specialist, the Technical Officer contributes to the implementation of HI mandate and three-year strategy (expressed in StratOp) in Pakistan. He/she contributes to the implementation of projects by providing technical expertise and by ensuring that the quality and impact of the project(s) concerned are optimized. The TO works in close collaboration with the program's technical team. He/she is responsible for the training, support and advice of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) so that the Disability Inclusive DRR toolkit is properly revised and implemented. |

Mission 1: Providing guidance and technical support to projects in accordance with the technical frameworks and general standards of his/her sectoral scope (DRR)
Mission 2: Providing project-based technical learning
Mission 3: Contributing to the animation of his/her sector
Mission 4: Contribute to ensure the technical influence of HI on its perimeter
Mission 5: Emergency Preparedness and Response Responsibilities Contribute to the support or implementation of emergency preparedness actions of the program(s) and, during an emergency, adapts his/her work modality in order to contribute to an effective HI humanitarian response. (*) The responsibilities of a function may fall under several fields: MANAGEMENT / STRATEGY AND DRIVING / STANDARDS AND EXPERTISE / OPERATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION - these fields are to be used if and only if they make sense for the function described. |
