The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) was established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982. AKRSP is working in ten districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, two districts in Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and two districts in Sindh to improve the quality of life of the people in the programme area.

AKRSP is seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill the following position:

Business Analyst –District Programme Office, Diamer.

Job Purpose:
Assist Work and Enterprise team and ensure efficient implementation of operations and activities according to the organizational work plan at district level.

Job Descriptions:
o Conduct rapid market assessments and job market/employer studies to identify opportunities and gaps for W&E interventions.
o Screen and scrutinize applications for the START entrepreneurship program and manage processes like boot camps, training advisory sessions, and pitches.
o Conduct due diligence on awardees prior to seed financing/grant distribution.
o Develop, review, and monitor agreements (TOPs) and follow-up regularly with START awardee for mentorship and reporting.
o Facilitate linkages with financial services, market associations, private sector entities, and enterprise support agencies.
o Organize awareness events, sessions, and monitoring visits for entrepreneurs and Skills Development beneficiaries under Future of Work (FOW)program.
o Build partnerships with government departments, employers, and professional setups for youth skill development and employment
o Support in promoting digital and entrepreneurial culture among youth in the region by implementing the Digital intervention under W&E program.
o Maintain and update MIS, and data bank of START and FoW program component trainees, beneficiaries, and service providers, which would indicate sectors with wide employment potential.
o Monitor START and FOW-related field activities, budgets, and financial expenditures to ensure alignment with project plans and expected results.
o Comply with all policies and procedures enforced by AKRSP including application of environment, gender, and safeguarding policies.
o Any other task from the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Education: 18 years qualification in Business Administration (Marketing) or Economics.
• Required Experience: Candidate must have 3 years relevant experience with the following key skills:
o Strong analytical and market research skills.
o Effective stakeholder engagement and coordination with chambers, business associations, and other stakeholders
o Proficiency in MIS and data management and reference will be given to those with any skills in MS Excel, Power BI, SPSS,
o Experience in research, data analysis, understanding of market dynamics, and feasibility studies.
