Position Requirements:
Education and Experience: A Master’s Degree is required, complemented by a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in a related field.
Core Competencies: The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in sustainable agricultural practices, with a specific focus on the cotton and agriculture value chain.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Demonstrated excellence in project cycle management, including planning, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation.
Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and community mobilization, with a proven track record of working effectively with rural communities, smallholder farmers, and various partners in the agriculture sector.
A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within cotton cultivation and a commitment to promoting best practices for improved yields and livelihoods.
