Relevant Experience:

 5-6 years’ experience, preferably in the development sector. Experience of working with international/national organizations and government agencies.

Education:

Master’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or relative subject.

Job Description:

  1. Ensure procurement processes are effectively implemented in line with the organizational policies & procedures.
  2. Assess products, services, and vendors before finalization.
  3. Review and compare received quotations and prepare comparatives.
  4. Review and crosscheck purchase orders with vendor prices of all general items.
  5. Maintain record/database of work orders, purchase orders, contracts and all relevant documentation.
  6. Perform fieldwork and market visits when required
  7. Ensure a consistent and compliant order filing system is put in place in every office to track, report and record all procurement, stocks, assets and fleet activities
  8. Ensure that data base for potential suppliers is maintained and documentary records are kept in a safe possession.
  9. Maintain and ensure an efficient contract management strategy in place to mitigate procurement risks.

        10. Carry out any other program related task assigned by the supervisor
