We are Seeking qualified candidate for the following role

Climate Change Specialist / Trainer – Comprehensive Risk Management Measures

Qualification Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Climate Change, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Disaster Risk Management, or a related field (PhD is an advantage).

  • Proficiency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in climate change training, capacity building, and policy advisory roles.

  • Proven experience in developing training materials, conducting research, and analyzing climate risks.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering trainings on climate and disaster risk management to diverse audiences.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Pakistan.

  • At least 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.

  • Experience integrating gender-sensitive approaches in training content and delivery.

  • Familiarity with digital learning tools, remote training platforms, and innovative knowledge-sharing methods.

Job Description

  • Lead and contribute to the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) with respect to Comprehensive Risk Management (CRM) measures.

  • Develop curriculum and training modules on CRM to ensure clarity, relevance, and effectiveness.

  • Design and structure training materials, integrating gender-sensitive approaches.

  • Deliver training sessions on CRM measures, providing expert guidance and practical insights.

  • Develop content for digital learning videos and apply remote training/knowledge-sharing methodologies.

  • Conduct research, draft reports, and analyze climate risks, including adaptation planning, mitigation strategies, and disaster resilience.

  • Provide practical support to field teams and ensure alignment of training content with project objectives.
