A National Level NGO engaged in advocacy, campaigning, community mobilization, research, networking, challenging anti poor policies, plans and actions at local, national and international level with different coalitions. Since its inception, covered at least 22 districts of Balochistan and has worked to ensure a peaceful and secure environment within communities. The main Goal is to eliminate poverty and violence from society by means of encouraging human rights and civic education culture.


Job Overview/Summary:

The Reporting Officer is responsible for collecting, compiling, analyzing, and presenting data and information related to the NGO’s projects and programs. The role focuses on developing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies. The position ensures that reporting is timely, accurate, and aligned with organizational and donor requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

Reporting & Documentation

  • Draft narrative reports, situation reports, progress updates, case studies, and success stories for donors, partners, and internal use.

  • Ensure timely submission of donor and internal reports according to the reporting schedule.

  • Coordinate with program & M&E teams to compile relevant data and information.

  • Maintain a centralized database of reports, templates, and other reporting tools.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Support the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team in data collection, validation, and analysis.

  • Consolidate and analyze project data to generate evidence-based reports and recommendations.

  • Visualize data in charts, graphs, and infographics for better communication of results.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all reports meet donor-specific and organizational guidelines in terms of format, language, and content.

  • Conduct quality control on data submitted from field teams and verify its accuracy and consistency.

  • Track reporting deadlines and alert relevant teams to upcoming submission dates.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with project teams, field staff, and management for inputs and updates required for reports.

  • Coordinate with communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging.

  • Support proposal development teams with background information, stats, and other inputs. 

Job Specification:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, economics, statistics or in any other related subject

  • At least 1 years of work experience preferably in NGO setup.


Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong writing and editing skills in English (Urdu proficiency is an asset).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel charts) is a plus.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles, SDGs, or development frameworks is desirable


Language Skills:  

  • Fluent, professional level speaking, reading, and writing in English and Urdu. At this level, applicant should have:

  • The ability to speak using sufficient, structured and accurate vocabulary in formal conversation;

  • The ability to use the language to satisfy professional needs;

  • The ability to read and write at a normal speed and with almost complete comprehension of a variety of materials, unfamiliar subjects, styles and forms pertinent to the job needs.
