A non-profit organization operating in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional “Manager Program Development/ Fund Raising” to lead our fundraising and program growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an expert in high-quality proposal development, innovative fundraising strategies, communication and establishing strong linkages with national and international organizations.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent command of English (writing, speaking, and presentation).
- Proven expertise in innovative proposal development and donor reporting.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation and partnership-building skills.
- Strong competencies in strategic planning, problem solving, and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online donor platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of high-quality concept notes, proposals, and donor applications.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities from national and international donors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and funding agencies.
- Ensure alignment of proposals with organizational strategy, donor priorities, and sectoral trends.
- Conduct research on donor landscapes, funding priorities, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop innovative program designs, logical frameworks, and results-based approaches.
- Coordinate with technical teams to gather inputs and package proposals effectively.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Support negotiations and finalize grant agreements with funding partners.
- Strengthening linkages and partnerships with government bodies, INGOs, UN agencies, and private sector actors.
- Represent the organization in donor meetings, forums, and networking platforms.
- Track, analyze, and report on funding pipelines and proposal success rates.
- Provide capacity-building support to program teams on proposal writing and donor engagement.
- Contribute to organizational visibility by preparing briefs, presentations, and promotional material.
- Ensure timely submission of donor reports and high-quality communication with partners.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in English, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program development, fundraising, or donor relations, preferably in the NGO/INGO sector.
- Demonstrated track record of successful proposals with national and international donors.
