Brief Introduction of the Project:

Penny Appeal Pakistan (PAPK), with the support of UNICEF, is implementing a comprehensive Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project in Ahmadpur Sial, District Jhang, Punjab. The project aims to improve access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation facilities for vulnerable communities, addressing critical gaps that directly impact public health, hygiene practices, and overall well-being.

Under this initiative, PAPK will construct 100 household pour flush toilets in communities to eliminate open defecation and promote safe sanitation practices. In parallel, the project will support improved access to clean and safe drinking water at the household and community levels. Additionally, gender-segregated toilet blocks will be constructed in schools, ensuring a safe, dignified, and child-friendly sanitation environment that encourages healthy hygiene behaviors and enhances learning outcomes.

The project will be implemented in close coordination with UNICEF, relevant government departments, and community stakeholders to ensure inclusivity, sustainability, and adherence to national and international WASH standards. Through these interventions, Penny Appeal Pakistan seeks to achieve sustainable, community-driven improvements in health, hygiene, and the overall quality of life for the people of Ahmadpur Sial.

Penny Appeal is a registered non-profit humanitarian organization, established under the Trust Act of 1882 (Registration No. 15558, Islamabad). The organization is committed to delivering life-saving and life-enhancing support to marginalized and vulnerable communities throughout Pakistan.

Invitation to Bid:

Penny Appeal hereby invites sealed bids from registered firms/contractors for the execution of the following work in Tehsil Ahmadpur Sial, District Jhang, Punjab. The scope of work includes the provision of skilled and unskilled labor, as well as transportation of materials to the respective district(s).
