Job Summary

Background: Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Sweeper for Aga Khan Medical Center Booni-Upper Chitral

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors in all patient and hospital areas.

  • Clean all hospital toilets and washrooms with proper detergents.

  • Properly dispose of medical and general hospital waste.

  • Clean windows, furniture, and doors.

  • Assist in cleaning and disinfecting beds, mattresses, and equipment.

  • Follow hospital cleanliness standards and infection-control guidelines.

  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the supervisor.

  • Assist staff during emergencies and special cleaning needs.

  • Perform any additional tasks assigned as needed.

    Required Skills Education, Experience & Competencies

    • Education: No formal education required

    • Experience: 6 months of relevant cleaning/housekeeping experience

    • Skills & Competencies (for Sweeper/Cleaner):

      • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and hygiene practices
