Global Enterprise & Traders is an expert firm extending logistical arrangements, supplies, and services to clients from the public, private, and development sectors .We are seeking a Business Development Officer who can lead the company’s business growth by preparing and submitting bids (both online and physical), maintaining client relationships, and following up on all procurement opportunities in the field of Stationery, IT Equipment, Office Furniture & Fixtures, Electronics, and related supplies
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new tender opportunities from government, corporate, and development sector organizations.
- Prepare and compile bidding documents, technical proposals, and quotations in line with client requirements.
- Successfully submit bids through online portals and in physical form as per individual tender procedures.
- Build and maintain productive professional relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documents, certifications, and quotations.
- Support the company in achieving sales targets and expanding its product portfolio.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure business.
- Develop monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure consistent progress.
- Generate and track leads through calls, visits, and digital platforms.
- Prepare sales reports, pipelines, and forecasts for management review Submit bids online and in physical form as required by each tender process.
- Maintain a proper record of all submitted bids and ensure timely follow-up until award or closure.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, technical, and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Communicate client requirements clearly to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor project execution and ensure all commitments are fulfilled.
- Keep track of tender results, market trends, and competitor activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in tender preparation, bidding, or business development.
- Strong understanding of public procurement procedures and online tender portals (e.g., PPRA, EPAD, UN agencies, NGOs, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online bidding platforms. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict deadlines.
