Background: Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P) runs one of the largest not-for-profit private healthcare systems in the country, with a focus on the regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh. Its core focus includes initiatives for hard-to-reach populations through services like outreach clinics, training of community midwives to provide low-cost health services in remote areas, screening for non-communicable diseases, and digital health solutions.

Position Summary: Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a competent Sweeper base at CHC-Singal, Ghizer Gilgit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors in all patient and hospital areas.
• Clean all hospital toilets and washrooms with proper detergents.
• Proper dispose of medical and general hospital waste.
• Clean windows, furniture, and doors.
• Follow hospital cleanliness standards and infection control guidelines.
• Cooperate with staff during emergencies and special cleaning requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Primary
• At least 6 months

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and proper use of cleaning equipment and materials
• Understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and infection control practices
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Attention to cleanliness and detail in patient care and hospital areas
• Ability to follow instructions, policies, and safety guidelines
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties for extended periods
• Time management and ability to complete tasks efficiently
• Basic understanding of waste segregation and safe disposal procedures
• Teamwork and cooperation with hospital staff
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined work attitude
